A week before I graduated from college, I found my lost love. Matt was my first real boyfriend. We first met when I was just eleven and he was thirteen. I was begining the 7th grade and was instantly smitten with him. We did not meet at school though. I lived with my dad and my sister and the summer before Jr. High my cousin Chris came to live with us - he was a bit of a rebellious kid. My father was a 911 dispatcher and worked the graveyard shift (10pm-7am) so we were alone all night every n...
I had my in person interview with a franchisee of a company I use to do franchise development for - I was so at ease because I knew more about the franchising process the he did and I really impressed him pretty soon he was talking about all the things I would be doing - as if I already had the job. PLUS - I'm getting a second interview!!! YEE HAWW! lol
Why must I suck so badly, I just had a phone interview and wow did I suck, I could not even recall the functions of my most recent job and I could not pull up my resume quick enough - why must I suck so badly. Why do interviewers make me so fricking nervous.I wish I could make a living at being a hermit.
I have a job interview today, I have put out hundreds of resumes & usually I get ignored, but I have an interview today - the bad thing is that I get really nervous and intimidated in interviews, does anyone have any tips?
I found this website about a month ago, I'm a litte suprised it is still up - this guy searches for photos on the shared folders of Peer to Peer networks and posts them on his website: "DISCLAIMER - these photos were found by doing a search using p2p (peer to peer) file sharing programs (like kazaa, limewire, bearshare, soulseek and others) people share their own personal digital photos in their shared folders, i'm thinking they put them there for friends or family to download or just se...
I just started this blog yesterday, although I have to admit I am already addicted! I have been updating my website quite a bit since I graduated in May and thought it just might be easier to join one of these forums - and it really is. My website has been a work in progress over the last six years or so - it's constantly changing as are my interests. I'm just glad someone is out there reading Thanks Gideon! Link
I wrote this paper last fall, I felt that it was of high quality, I expected to make an A. Instead I made a B and yes I am still fumed about it. I wrote this paper for a class called "The American Presidency", this course was one of 5 courses I was required to take in order to graduate. There was only one professor who taught these courses and he was completely biased. I made B's in every single course I took with him, whereas, I made A's in all of my other Political Science courses. These B'...
As you may already know I have been suffering from yet another bout of tonsilitis, of course I blame my parents for not having my tonsils removed when I was a child. Now as an adult I suffer from this affliction atleast 2-3 times a year. I have tried everything - and it may be possible that antibiotics no longer work for me the way they use to. In my last semester of college, due to years of procrastination, I finally took my math requirement, Mathematical Modeling with Dr. Blair Ste...

My big plan was to go to law school, this is why I changed my major from Business Administration to Political Science my Junior year in college, it was the Pre-law track. I thought I was making the right choice. But after taking the LSAT twice and doing miserably on it I am forced to find work with this degree. I have been looking for 6 months and have gotten mostly ignored and/or rejected by employers. Any suggestions?
This article is of interest to me, because nine years ago at the age of 18, I had my daughter Morgan Taylor at just 32 weeks into my pregnancy, I too had preeclampsia. Morgan only weighed 4 lbs at birth and went down to just 2.4lbs within 2 days. She was the tiniest baby I had ever seen. She is a healthy 3rd grader now and there have been absolutely no health problems since. This is Morgan today: Here is the article: A record-breaking baby weighing a minuscule 280 gram...
And this is me this week - I've been sick with tonsilitis - not feeling or looking too well:
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9-11 Commission), an independent, bipartisan commission created by congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in late 2002, is chartered to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including preparedness for and the immediate response to the attacks. The Commission is also mandated to provide recommen...
If you are using a peer-to-peer network be careful This site should be warning enough: "All material on this site was offered by users of P2P File Sharing Applications By installing a file sharing application on your computer, you are giving consent to others to view the files you are sharing. 02:00 AM Jul. 19, 2004 PT While legislators in Washington work to outlaw peer-to-peer networks, one website is turning the peer-to-peer technology back on Washington to expose its inner, secretive workings. But outragedmoderates.org isn't offering copyright music and videos for download. The site, launched two weeks ago, has aggregated more than 600 government and court documents to make them available for download through the Kazaa, LimeWire and Soulseek P2P networks in the interest o...
